Summary

It is the first largest fossil museum where can see the various fossil in KoreaIt is officially opened on June 26, 1996, a first-class fossil museum of registration No. 84.
Collecting fossils of 2,000 pieces from over 20 countries around the world were classified and exhibited by region and characteristics .
There are 150 (py) indoor galleries and an outdoor pavilion to exhibit the era fossils and facies fossil.

Fossile is the remains of organisms that lived in the old age and all the tracks and droppings of organisms is treated as a fossil.
The word "fossil" originated from the Latin "fossilis", which means the stuff dug up from the ground.
But, the word "Fossil" began to be used on the remains of creatures that lived in geologic time, in the late 18th century

How organisms are preserved in fossils : It depend on anatomical and chemical properties of creatures, environment and the action of property after creatures were buried on the ground.
